The Computerised Edge Crush Tester is an advanced testing machine designed to measure the compression and crushing strength of corrugated boards, paperboard and packaging materials. The machine performs different packaging strength tests, including Edge Crush Test (ECT), Ring Crush Test (RCT), and Flat Crush Test (FCT). During testing, controlled compression force is applied to the specimen until the required result or failure point is reached. The computerized system allows test data to be viewed and recorded through compatible software. It can also generate graphical test results, making analysis and quality control easier. Computerised models are commonly supplied with a digital display as a backup when the computer system is not in use.
